Hello!… or should I say Hola? No, I’m not into anything Spanish lately. I just felt like translating the title. Or maybe it’s because I’m still a bit affected by the recent elimination of Matthew from ANTM. Boohoohoo :( In the last episode, they had this segment wherein every model got to discover their ancestry roots. Apparently Matthew has a Spanish heritage which is kind of cool in my opinion. And then on panel, being the goofy guy he is, he even talked to the judges in his “Spanish accent” that was really amusing, right before his photo was judged. I am so gonna miss Matthew on the show, like, aside from Lenox and Will, he’s one of my greatest favorites. I have been seeing spoilers about the comeback on social media (the latest episode is just going to be aired in the Philippines tomorrow) and sadly Matthew’s not gonna continue on in the competition. Really depressing! But I wish I could see more of his modeling works soon, I’m a super fan of #MATASSES! And yes, I am so hoping to see him in person one day. He’s just so awesome!

Anyway, about this look: Wore this outfit to a meeting last weekend that did not call for a formal outfit so I had the freedom to put on casual pieces such as my tank top and flats.

Hat, Forever 21; Sunnies, The Heiress Shop; Blazer, Markus (The SM Store); Pants, Bench;

Initially, that day it was a little cloudy but when I stepped out of the house it was so sunny so I had to bring a hat with me but after the meeting the sky just went dark again. Unpredictable indeed. I guess the only thing that remained certain that day was my bright blazer.

Tank top, Cotton On; Belt, Maldita Man;

Animal prints can make an outfit look really playful so sometimes, if you want to balance out the overall feel of your outfit, you have to wear smart pieces with it such as a tailored blazer or neutral-colored garments.

Clutch, Maldita

I totally love this clutch for being so see-through!!! I’ve been looking for this kind for so long. The gold studs added to that “classy” effect.

Flats, Shoe Best (Landmark Trinoma Dept. Store)

These flats are really comfy I could wear these everyday.

Sugar Rain

Sugary-sweet pastels or whatever you call them will always be one of my favorite elements. Wore this last Sunday to run for some errands. Given such a task, I made sure to wear something easy and chill. Bringing the outfit out of the plain and ordinary, I incorporated yummy hues and details all in one look!

Top, Butternut; Trousers and shoes, Bench;

Happened snag this top from my recent shopping escapade at Eastwood Bazaar! Isn’t it just so cute and fun?! Interestingly, the name of the store where I got this from also sounds sweet!

My phone’s back cover is apparently in sync with my look’s color palette.

Color Flight

image

In case no one has noticed it yet, I am such a sucker for colorful things! And of course, my outfits will not be an exception for that obsession. Sharing a look that I wore last Saturday to a very productive brainstorming session I had with a friend from college. I’m definitely excited for this awesome thing that we’re brewing up!

Colorful patterns are like food to my eyes, especially when they are coupled with geometric shapes! Whenever I shop, I constantly find myself picking a colorfully detailed piece and I think it can save you from days when you suddenly just can’t rack your brain to come up with an idea on what to wear. I mean, just pair a colorful shirt or trouser with a basic piece and you’re actually good to go!

Tank top, Forever 21 MEN

To me the bird prints made the outfit look more ethnic and fun! This top is so comfy, very much perfect for going out under unpredictable skies.

SO.. I made it a point to have a photo at the stairs and it kind of reminded me of some usual scenes in Mexican Telenovelas wherein the main character, dressed up in a bright, colorful outfit, runs with all smiles on the town’s stairway during the first few minutes of the first episode… NOT. HAH!

Sweatpants, Forever 21 Men

And then it just occurred to me that the inspiration for this outfit is actually Aztec.

Right Off the Track

I so love street style mainly because it defines cool and comfy. Owning this kind of look on certain days makes me feel like I have this other persona which I find really interesting. Also, street looks are much easier to put on!

image

Shirt, Mental; Trousers, Oxygen;

This outfit could not be more than inspired by “in the hood” hits. HAH! Whenever I go out with this kind of look I just literally feel like showing off some moves…even if I don’t know any.

I definitely love the top, it literally looks rugged and adventurous!

Cap, Rebel Gear

Wrist band, Rebel Gear

Added some kick to the outfit by incorporating candy colors with the cap and wrist band.

Pink shoelaces are love!
